Cancer is a worldwide pandemic. The burden it imposes grows steadily on a global scale causing emotional, physical, and financial strains on individuals, families, and health care systems. As cancer continues to be one of the leading causes of death worldwide, continuous efforts are being made to diagnose and manage this disease. Althogh, tissue biopsies have been the most common methods for diagnosing cancer and profiling the tumour, they are associated with many limitations.
